Redwing Builders

There is no restriction on who may build a Redwing, it is simply subject to approval by the RYA to whom
a prospective owner must apply for a sail number. Note that members of Looe Sailing Club are exempt
from paying a designer's royalty on issue of the sail number.
The Goodwood Boat Company specialises in new build and restoration of classic wooden boats including race measured dinghies. The business is run by Stephen Beresford. The business is also fully capable for repair and restoration of Redwings and recently completed major repairs to Venus, built in the 1950s.
